About What Play

Play Whe marks are posted from the live draw broadcast, usually within 1 to 2 minutes of the draw, then checked against the NLCB public website when it posts. Pick 2, Pick 4, Cash Pot, Lotto Plus and Win For Life are read from the NLCB public website, usually about 35 minutes after the draw. Each game has a page for the latest draws and a page for every date in the record. Play Whe also has a page for each of the 36 marks, a dream keyword index, and counts of how often each mark has appeared.

The Play Whe counts start on 31 Jan 2026. That is the start of this site's record, not the start of the game. A mark page says so next to the counts.

What Play does not sell tickets, collect stakes, or pay prizes. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to the NLCB. Game names belong to their owners. A number on this site is a draw that already happened.

Predictions are a ranking of past rates. Every draw is independent. Nothing on the predictions page is advice to play.

Before any method is allowed to rank marks, it is tested on draws it never saw. For every past draw after the first 144, the 36 marks are ranked using only earlier draws, and the test checks whether the drawn mark was in the top five. Chance gives 5 in 36, about 13.9%. Each method gets a 95% Wilson interval and a one-sided exact binomial p-value against that baseline, plus a permutation test with 1,000 seeded shuffles of the mark sequence. A method earns a place in a ranked list only when its interval clears 13.9%, its p-value is under 0.01, and the same holds on at least 200 draws after it went live. Slot and weekday bias are checked with a Monte Carlo chi-square on the same shuffles. The rules were fixed before the first run and do not change between runs. The track record on the predictions page is that test, scored after each draw.
